WALT use google slides to create an interesting presentation about 

our camp experience. 

My favorite activities were the obstacle course and the slippery hockey. I loved the obstacle course because it was really challenging and it was really hard too and I think everybody loved it. My favorite part of the obstacle course was the tyre swings and ropes because I love climbing on things and I really like swinging and jumping off them. Second was slippery hockey I really liked it because I kept slipping over other people trying to hit the ball into the goal. When I Got it in the goal my team was so pleased and we started screaming yay!. my favorite part was trying to hit the bottles full of water because it was so cool when you kept seeing people only just get the bottles. At the end we had to get hosed down with freezing cold water I hated it especially when it tickled me I hate being tickled. 

Addition and Subtraction Math Strategies

I have been learning to use the splitting strategy and rounding and compensating to solve addition and subtraction equations.


Can you explain how you have learnt your new knowledge?
 I learnt how to do the splitting strategy and how to use even bigger numbers.

What other ways could you practice your new learning? 
I use my google slide to practice and to understand my learning.

How would you teach your new knowledge to another learner? 
By using my screen castify or my blog that is how you can learn about outher learning.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

Today my class and me went to the  film festival at Te Ahu. When we got there their was a red carpet and when I walked on it I felt like a Queen. We sat down I felt nervous but also excited when the movies started the first one was Ahipara School I loved the the first one it was called making friends because the boy sat on the friends slot a scouter took a ball and pushed them over and after afew more movies it was Mangonui school and I thought it was super cool. Then it was our one when I saw Anahera we all laughed but when I saw myself I covered my eyes and in the end we got second place.

2nd Rugby World Cup - Argentina

In Te Manga we've been learning about the rugby world cup.  I've learnt so much that I can't even remember how much I have learnt.

FIRST DRAFT Duffy Theatre - Magic Bricks

Duffy was so excited to see his favourite cousin but when Sam was addicted to gaming. then Auntie grace came in the room and said hello Duffy I'll take your bag into your room Duffy what have you got in here bricks no books auntie said well I'll leave you two to it then Duffy said hey San do you want to play tag or we could ride our bikes ho I now we could make a hut you used to loved making huts then Sam said no the dismantler  Duffy said calm down its just a game Sam said its not just a game its a hole world she was a raging rhino.


 Duffy then put on Nana's glasses and started doing the dumpling dance and started to slowly disappear into the game and he had to choose his skin and he chose rectangular blocks that were spouts to look like muscles then the dismantler came with her road cones and said construction bricks must take bricks apart then he ran around and around the stage then Sam said the dismantler only beaks bricks. Duffy said OK I need to choose a new skin and he chose what looked like a fluffy chicken. He got some little helpers and he got them to hold big blocks and they had to find out a word well Duffy was thinking the puzzler came and puzzled it up for him and he had to 

My New Dog Lulu

The day before yesterday Mum Tahli and I went to a lady's place to see her dog named Lulu she was one-and-half. When we got there I ran straight to her and she jumped on me but I didn’t care I just gave her a big huge. We were inside and mum asked are we going to take a dog home and I yelled YES and we got her. When we were in the van she cries halfway home but before we went home we went to town to get her a lead a food and water bowl. When we got home we taught her for a walk and she loved it especially when it was dinner time she loves treats she would do anything for one delicious little treat. Lulu is a black and white and has the cutest face.
