My Holiday in Perth

In the holidays on Tuesday Mum, Tahli, Aunty, Toa and me went to the reptile park but when we got there it was closed and I said no! The adults thought I was mad. The adults just had to get coffee and I couldn't wait to get back to the reptile park. Finally we got there and it was open! I said hurry up, I raced threw the door and I wanted to see everything but first we went on a tour, I got to see a snake eating I felt scared. We went to go to see a snake that we could hold so I asked if I could hold it and it was almost invisible in my t - shirt. We went to touch a dragon, it felt prickly. His name was Zap.

Awhitia - Gala writing

woke up and remembered it was the paparore school gala!!! I raced to the kitchen and to have breakfast With dad and Tahli my little sister. When I was finished I rushed into the truck finally!!!dad gave me lots of money and I raced to the library to get tickets, I got 40!!!after I got the tickets I raced  to the bungy jump I jumped so high that me and my sister thought it was hard to jump When I got down I was much better then I went to the rock climbing wall!!! I was so scared but when I got to the top was very high, I could see everything but when I was climbing it was very hard I felt like I was going to fall but thank goodness,I didn’t!!!After that I felt hungry so we all went to the cafe all of different tips of food that I saw smelt so good they looked so delicious that I felt like eating all of them. I bought shortbread cookies, Then I saw the I went over to the lucky dip I got a weasel, and a rubber then I saw whaea Deb. I still had tickets in my hand so I rushed to the giant slide it was so hard to get threw but it was fun anyway!!! Dad and me and my little sister went to the rafle because we still had ticket lots of them too. So me dad and Tahli raced we didn’t get any buckets for awhile but then we he said our number and dad got one with weetbix pipe cleaners mini easter eggs. I was so mad at dad that I wanted to say really dad but I knew I couldn’t then we we were ready to go home so we did next year I hope I get to choose the bucket.

My Class Assembly - The very hungry kina

My Class Assembly

I was sitting there with butterflies in my stomach, scared, wanting to run away, sitting with the rest of my class.  Now it's my turn, standing there on the spot, hands really sweaty as I said my piece of writing.  But when I saw my mum I felt much better and I got on with it.  Then I saw people loving our assembly. At the end we all danced to a happy song and it was so fun.
The audience laughed and some danced too. We all loved it!

Experiencing Marine Reserves 29.03.19

A marine reserve is a marine protected area where you are not allowed to take anything!. We need marine reserves so we have fish for the future.  If it is the open ocean, without a marine reserve the ocean gets dirty with rubbish.
