Today in Literacy I learnt that pilot whales eat many things likes squid, fish, octopus and crustaceans.


today In maths we focused on how many whales were getting stranded every 5 years.

today I found my A - Z tricky because it was hard to find the right words

FIRST DRAFT Duffy Theatre - Magic Bricks

Duffy was so excited to see his favourite cousin but when Sam was addicted to gaming. then Auntie grace came in the room and said hello Duffy I'll take your bag into your room Duffy what have you got in here bricks no books auntie said well I'll leave you two to it then Duffy said hey San do you want to play tag or we could ride our bikes ho I now we could make a hut you used to loved making huts then Sam said no the dismantler  Duffy said calm down its just a game Sam said its not just a game its a hole world she was a raging rhino.


 Duffy then put on Nana's glasses and started doing the dumpling dance and started to slowly disappear into the game and he had to choose his skin and he chose rectangular blocks that were spouts to look like muscles then the dismantler came with her road cones and said construction bricks must take bricks apart then he ran around and around the stage then Sam said the dismantler only beaks bricks. Duffy said OK I need to choose a new skin and he chose what looked like a fluffy chicken. He got some little helpers and he got them to hold big blocks and they had to find out a word well Duffy was thinking the puzzler came and puzzled it up for him and he had to

- The Great Reading Adventure Assembly

On Friday in the hall Te Tinana and my class Te Manga did an assembly about the book fair it was called the great reading adventure. There were six groups Duffy Scruffy and the two friends, the cat in the hat, maue and the sun, the non fiction and the Harry Potter. Before the assembly started. We got into our costumes and sat in our groups I sat with my group my group was the cat in the hat group. When people started coming in we went to where we were going to come out and go down the path. When everyone sat down the assembly started I was so excited when we saw the cat in the hat go up Alani and me knew it was time to go up when the cat in the hat said how then we ran up we kept running around Grace, Koda, Zana and the cat in the hat. When we stopped Alani said we will not bite you we’re here to have fun we just love to run run run then I said when we brick stuff please don’t worry we will always say sorry. After the cat in the hat group  left the Maue and the sun group came up and that group did one of the most amazing and I think they did AWESOME!! And I thought the sun was  Next were the super heros. They told jokes and they were some of the most funniest jokes ever. The non fiction group came up and told us about dinosaurs lions and space they were very interesting and there costumes were the best.Next was the harry potter group and they were so cool in there costumes that they looked like the real thing. After the assembly I felt better than nervous I felt great and when I got home I felt better than ever.

NZ Playhouse - Hare and Tortoise Show

Today we saw an entertaining performance by New Zealand playhouse the performance was the hare and the tortoise. The actor's were the Ginger bread man or G man, the tortoise, the hare, humped dumpy and piped piper. everyone loved it there was Lot's of laughing, giggling and cheering I think that everybody loves NZ playhouse and they would love to see them again.
